He stars as Jon Snow in the HBO favourite Game of Thrones - which is set to air its eighth and final series on Apr 14. 

And Kit Harington, 32, shocked viewers of Saturday Night Live when he appeared for the first time in years without his rugged beard.

Game of Thrones fans took to Twitter to express outrage at the actor's sudden change - with one even branding his clean shaven look an 'utter travesty'.
