关闭边境？特朗普又又又来了！可问题是……

众所周知，美国总统特朗普对于美国和墨西哥之间的边境问题一直都“耿耿于怀”，曾经多次表示要关闭边境。不过这一次，他要动真格的了？

美国时间29日，特朗普针对非法移民问题连发三条推特，并威胁要关闭美墨边境。

据新华网报道，针对特朗普最新指责，墨西哥总统安德烈斯•曼努埃尔•洛佩斯•奥夫拉多尔29日说，墨方正在尽力应对非法移民偷渡，“我们想与美国政府保持良好关系”。



据CNN报道，美国海关和边境保护局（CBP）局长凯文•麦卡里曾表示，美国移民管制已达到了“极限”。

US Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Kevin McAleenan said the "breaking point has arrived" for the US immigration system.

同样在上周五，特朗普在佛罗里达表示，他将“长时间”关闭边境贸易，而且美国已经没有地方扣留那些无档案的移民了。

Trump, in Florida on Friday afternoon, said he could close the border to trade for a "long time" and insisted the US had run out of detention space for undocumented immigrants.



那么，问题来了，这边境是怎么个关法？CNN表示：不知道！因为特朗普没有明确表示这其中的含义。

不过，此前美国也至少四次关闭过部分边境，分别在肯尼迪遇刺后，阻止大麻进口时，边防人员被绑架后，以及911事件后。不过边境又都在短时间内重新开放。

It's unclear what Trump means by "CLOSING the Border, or large sections of the Border." Past presidents shut down parts of the border at least four times -- after John F. Kennedy's assassination, to prevent cannabis imports, after a border patrol agent was kidnapped, and immediately following 9/11. All of those instances were short lived.
 


不过CNN也指出，无论特朗普所谓的“关闭”是哪种情形，对于持绿卡者、美国公民、难民和贸易而言，都面临很多问题。

据《VOX》报道，美墨边境每天的商业活动价值大约为15亿美元，仅得克萨斯州的港口每日就有近50万人合法入境。

Approximately $1.5 billion worth of commerce happens along the US-Mexico border every day. Nearly half a million people cross the border legally every day through Texas ports alone.

文章指出，包括鳄梨在内，美国消费者依赖于墨西哥种植的多种新鲜水果蔬菜，比如西红柿、草莓、葡萄和芒果等。而墨西哥则依赖美国的大豆、玉米、奶制品、鸡肉和牛肉等产品。

Now, consumers in the United States depend on Mexican farmers for fresh fruit and vegetables like avocados, tomatoes, strawberries, grapes and mangoes. Mexico relies heavily on American soybeans, corn, dairy products, chickens, beef and other goods.

If the border were shut down, consumers would most likely see an immediate spike in food prices, and supplies of fresh food could dwindle from grocery store shelves in a matter of days.
