易烊千玺在联合国发表全英文演讲
Pop idol says young people need equality, education and empowerment

当地时间4月8日，TFBoys成员易烊千玺在纽约联合国总部参加了联合国经社理事会青年论坛，作为世界卫生组织中国健康特使出席亚太地区分会，并进行了全英文演讲。之后，易烊千玺还代表亚太地区分会场进行了汇报演讲，他表示，“对青少年来说最关键的三个需求是：性别平等、教育和赋权。” 为了实现联合国可持续发展目标，他还提出了三点建议。 （戳回顾 ）

Gender equality, education and empowerment are the top three key needs for young people, as shown by discussion of Asia Pacific representatives at a United Nations youth forum, Chinese singer and World Health Organization (WHO) envoy Yi Yangqianxi said on Tuesday.

At the UN Economic and Social Council Youth Forum which concluded on Tuesday, Yi reported the discussion of the Asia Pacific session to the plenary on behalf of the regional group in his capacity as WHO China special envoy and Chinese youth representative.

Justin Bieber is showing just how much he loves his wife, Hailey Bieber.

In a romantic gesture, the 25-year-old superstar singer took to Instagram on Monday to post a romantic poem for the 22-year-old model. Writing directly to Hailey, Justin said he just wanted to "publicly honor" her and wished her luck at her shoot.

"Sunlight falls into the Abyss Just like I fall into your lips," Justin began his message, which he shared alongside a picture of Hailey from a Maxim photo shoot. "Waves crash onto the shore, My love for you grows more and more, Sound of the crickets a true meditation, I think of you, god's greatest creation."

Justin went on to tell Hailey that he falls more in love with her each day, adding, "You have walked hand and hand with me as I continue to get my emotions, mind, body and soul in tact! You have given me so much strength, support, encouragement and joy."

美国高校招生舞弊案近日又有了新进展，牵涉其中的13位家长，包括曾出演《绝望主妇》的菲丽西提•霍夫曼承认在该丑闻中使用了贿赂和其他形式的欺诈手段使子女入学。

她在一份声明中表达了深深的悔过与羞愧，称会承担自己行为所造成的后果，并向努力学习想进入高校的学生及他们的家长道歉。不过，她还表示自己的女儿并不知情，称是自己背叛了女儿。

Actress Felicity Huffman is among 13 parents charged in the college admissions scandal who agreed to plead guilty to bribery and other forms of fraud to get their kids into elite colleges and universities, federal authorities announced on Monday. 

Huffman, known to millions from TV's "Desperate Housewives" and  her Oscar-nominated role in "Transamerica," released a statement of contrition to USA TODAY in which she said she felt "deep regret and shame" for the pain she caused. 

"I am in full acceptance of my guilt, and with deep regret and shame over what I have done, I accept full responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions," she wrote. "I am ashamed of the pain I have caused my daughter, my family, my friends, my colleagues and the educational community.

"I want to apologize to them and, especially, I want to apologize to the students who work hard every day to get into college, and to their parents who make tremendous sacrifices to support their children and do so honestly," she wrote.  
 
"My daughter knew absolutely nothing about my actions, and in my misguided and profoundly wrong way, I have betrayed her," she said. "This transgression toward her and the public I will carry for the rest of my life. My desire to help my daughter is no excuse to break the law or engage in dishonesty."
